Yum! Restaurants International Appoints General Manager of Brazil

Restaurants International has appointed Andréa Rolim to the position of general manager, Brazil, overseeing the operations, marketing, training and overall leadership of the KFC and Pizza Hut business in the Brazilian market. Rolim brings a proven track record of retail success and a passion for Yum! Brands to her new role.


“Brazil is one of our biggest opportunities for growth, so this position is very important to us,” says Frederic Levacher, general manager, Latin America and Caribbean. “Andréa’s knowledge of the Brazil market will be instrumental in driving our growth plans.”


Andréa joins Yum! from Grupo Pão de Açúcar in São Paulo, where she has been working as a business director. With over 1,800 stores, Grupo Pão de Açúcar is the biggest Brazilian and the second largest Latin America retailer.


Yum! Brands, Inc. is the world’s largest restaurant company in terms of system units with over 37,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories. The company’s restaurant brands include KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell.


Based in Sao Paulo, the Brazil division of Yum! Brands, Inc. currently has 84 restaurants between Pizza Hut and KFC. The Pizza Hut business is spread out across the country and is managed by 14 franchise partners. The KFC business is primarily located in the São Paulo-Rio axis with 14 stores in Rio de Janeiro State and four in the São Paulo downtown area.
