Dickey's To Expand In Texas and Wisconsin

 

dickeys webBirmingham, Ala.  — Dallas-based Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants has announced plans to expand in Texas and Wisconsin. The company plans to expand in Georgetown, Humble, Laredo and Levelland in Texas. Dickey's currently has more than 90 locations in Texas, including a unit that opened in mid-July in Tomball.

In Wisconsin, the restaurant is opening a location in Green Bay this week, while a unit in Kenosha will open this fall. The two stores represent the fourth and fifth locations in Wisconsin for the barbecue chain, which is franchise-based.

Dickey's added 67 restaurants in 2011 and plans 100 new units in 2012. The company currently has more than 250 locations in 43 states.
