Franchise Veteran Joins Growing Georgia-Based Frozen Yogurt Chain

lovin spoons logoSavannah, GA — Lovin’ Spoons, a growing frozen yogurt company based in Savannah, Ga., has hired Steven Bryan as vice president of franchise development.

Bryan joins Lovin’ Spoons with more than 30 years of industry experience. Previous experience includes vice president of franchise development for Mrs. Fields Famous Brand, where Bryan helped develop new locations for the nationally recognized company. Prior to that, he served as the senior vice president of operations and marketing for Texas-based Deblan Corporation, the largest franchisee of Great American Cookies.

“Steven brings an extremely strong business background to Lovin’ Spoons,” says Diane Kahn, president and founder. “His experience in managing all aspects of a franchise business — ranging from building brands to closing deals and leveraging strategic relationships — will be invaluable to our continued growth and success.”

Now with four locations, Lovin’ Spoons opened its first self-serve frozen yogurt store in Savannah in November 2010.

Bryan joins Lovin’ Spoons only weeks after the company announced a partnership with Freshëns Quality Brands, the nation’s largest yogurt and smoothie company. That alliance paved the way for the development of an exclusive Lovin’ Spoons yogurt lineup that was unveiled in stores in June.

“This is an exciting time to join Lovin’ Spoons,” says Bryan. “I look forward to helping shape this emerging brand and further growing their footprint across the Southeast and beyond.”
